The raisins in this bag come from ripe green sultana grapes that have been dried in the sunshine, leaving small, sweet, wrinkled and energising treats. Raisins are also rich in vitamins and minerals!
Raisins enhance both sweet and savoury dishes, pastries, bread and cookies. They are also delicious stirred into muesli, granola and porridge, or as a snack in a nut mix.
Make chewy chocolate treats by melting a few pieces of dark chocolate in a bowl, stirring in the raisins and spooning the mixture onto baking paper on a plate. Leave to cool in the refrigerator – serve with a cup of spicy, invigorating tea.
