Our organic beluga lentils are beautifully black, have a mild nutty flavour and are naturally rich in protein. They are excellent and especially delicious in salads, as an accompaniment to various dishes, in soups and stews or blended into a creamy spread. Beluga lentils have a pleasantly firm texture and pair well with flavours such as tomato, garlic, lemon and thyme.
Directions
2 servings
1 dl beluga lentils
3 dl water
1/2 ml salt
1. Rinse the lentils in cold water.
2. Bring to the boil in plenty of water with a pinch of our tasty country-style stock or salt.
3. Simmer over a low heat for approximately 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain off any excess water if necessary.
